Training Policies

Program Scope

Each training program is designed around a specific level of support, structure, and owner involvement. Training is not open ended, and each service includes its own scope, format, and follow up expectations.

Handoff and Transition Period

Board & Train and private training programs include handoff guidance and a defined transition period intended to help owners apply what was taught. Questions or concerns during that transition should be communicated promptly while the issue is active and fresh.

Owner Follow Through

Long term success depends heavily on owner consistency, day to day handling, repetition, and home environment after training is complete. Dogs return to the patterns they live in. Training can create a strong foundation, but owners are responsible for maintaining that structure once the dog returns home.

Ongoing Support

Training does not include open ended or lifetime follow up unless explicitly stated in writing. Support is tied to the active program and transition period.

Re-Emerging or Long Delayed Issues

If a client reaches back out long after a program has ended, or after a long gap in communication, unresolved or re-emerging behavior concerns are treated as a new training need rather than a continuation of the original service.

No Guarantee of Permanent Results

Because behavior is shaped by consistency, environment, and follow through after training, permanent results cannot be guaranteed. The dog must continue living within the structure and guidance that was taught.

Scheduling and Availability

Future help, refresher work, or additional training is based on availability and is not guaranteed simply because a dog has previously completed a program.
